will be available online

Bankable is written for driven, talented entrepreneurs who know they are capable of more and want to build a business that can truly grow. In developing economies, scaling a business comes with real challenges. Limited systems, inconsistent markets, funding gaps, team issues, and owner dependence can all slow growth. This book speaks directly to those realities.

Across 11 practical chapters, Bankable helps entrepreneurs think more clearly about what it takes to move from effort-driven growth to structure-driven growth. It explores the foundations of building a business that is credible, profitable, scalable, and ready for greater opportunity. From strategy and systems to positioning and long-term growth, the book is designed to help business owners strengthen their thinking and take smarter action.

More than a book, Bankable is the beginning of a wider growth journey. It is an entry point into the ActionINVEST ecosystem, where entrepreneurs can continue building through deeper support, practical tools, and growth-focused opportunities.

About the Author

Dr. Vishnu Doerga is a business leader, entrepreneur, business coach, and institution builder with roots in both Guyana and Suriname. Trained in Mechanical Engineering and later earning an MBA and a Management PhD specializing in Entrepreneurship, he has invested his career in helping businesses move from hard-working and hopeful to structured, credible, and scalable. Through ActionINVEST Caribbean and ActionCOACH Guyana, he has coached and advised entrepreneurs, executives, and organizations across Guyana, Suriname, the Caribbean, and beyond, always with a strong emphasis on systems, governance, accountability, and growth with integrity. His work extends beyond individual companies into the wider business ecosystem. He has helped build platforms, partnerships, and institutions that strengthen trust, trade, and private-sector development, including his role in co-founding the Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce and leading initiatives such as the Who’s Who business directories and international business platforms. Across these efforts, one conviction has remained constant: developing countries do not lack talent or ambition. What they need, more consistently, are stronger systems, better leadership, and more credible institutions.

It is Vishnu’s passion to see developing countries become developed ones, not only in income, but in standards, discipline, trust, and institutional maturity. BANKABLE is one of his contributions toward that goal. It is written to help entrepreneurs and leaders build businesses that can carry growth responsibly, create wider opportunity, and strengthen the kind of institutions that move nations forward.
